What is UCLID?

UCLID's mission is to provide leadership and to work in partnership with states, communities, the public, and private partners.

UCLID is involved in many different programs and issues concerning health, education, international relations, and human rights of people with disabilities. UCLID is a strategy within community development for rehabilitation. It serves as a bridge over which information and professional paths. This bridge makes it possible for the social goal of each discipline to be realized. Through UCLID these individuals are not just traveling past each other, but working together and sharing ideas. UCLID is an interdisciplinary organization, headed by people with the goal of educating the public about disabilities/HIV and AIDS, and related infectious diseases.
